Born in Romania;
Living in Laval, QC, Canada. As a professional painter (under his artist name, SORiaN), developed a style called Philosophical Visionary Surrealism; I focus in my art on the conceptual blocks of consciousness, on how the language of art transfers into the language of thought and on how these languages become vehicles to understand the relationship Body-Mind, such that human beings connect with each other, becoming actors in a shared inter-subjectivity space. These concepts have been elaborated in three of my major philosophical art projects ⮚ Birth of Self (2012-2015) ⮚ Evolution of Consciousness (2015-2017) ⮚ Origins (2017 and ongoing) Participated in more than fifty national and international exhibitions. |
